Today, we launched our subscription paywall.

One of our core company values is "Be user obsessed." Notably, it isn't "Be customer obsessed." We guarantee that even users on our Basic (i.e., free) plan will receive significant value from using UpdateAI.

Here's what you need to know about our new subscription paywall:

1. The Basic (free) plan will remain free forever.

2. Following our initial promotion, users who signed up for UpdateAI before May 1, 2023, will be placed on an extended trial until November 1, 2023.

3. Users who signed up prior to today, but after May 1, will enjoy a 15-day free trial of our Pro plan. However, the clock for these users will not start ticking immediately. We'll announce the commencement date later in July.

4. New users who sign up for UpdateAI starting today will kick off their 15-day free trial of the Pro plan.

5. We don't have anyone's credit card details on file, so you won't need to worry about unexpected charges.

6. After your trial, you can either continue with our Professional plan or switch to the Basic plan.

7. Later this month, we'll send our earliest users a special discount. Others might also get it if you email josh@update.ai and ask nicely :)
